My name is Adem Bingham and we are 4:thirtyseven. 4:thirtyseven began circa 2005 and has moved across the expanse; from performing in venues, leading worship for congregations, kicking cans in abandoned theme parks, and tossing stones over icy seas. Life has always been and continues to be a delicate path to somewhere guided by a loving Hand. We are reminded consistently that every bump is a blessing, a reminder to slow down, and that sometimes it is better to slaughter a deer and learn to drive more carefully than to paint the sidewalk with human entrails.
4:thirtyseven is all about Mishpacha or family. I am a songwriter, but we are a family. Music is written, produced, and recorded while shows are booked, promoted, then performed and it would be very narcissistic of me to imply in any way that I can take credit for even half of that. I record at Knox Sound Studios and I play regularly at Remedy Coffee and Time Warp Tea Room. All legal matters are dealt with by Steven C. Buitron and Spin Fuelner handles a lot of design work.
As for me? I currently reside in Knoxville, Tennessee where I am pursuing the L-rd and His will in all things. I lead worship for a Church of outcasts and I am also becoming increasingly active with the music in a beautiful synagogue. I love people and building relationships. Intergenerational culturally diverse community is the heartbeat of developing lives that progress in purity, righteousness, and unity. I enjoy a good chai tea, playing in fountains, growing my beard, and living organically.
Shalom, Welcome to the family.
